Caterpillar J460 Twin Tiger Tooth

This Caterpillar J460 twin tiger tooth is a non-OEM replacement excavator bucket tooth for compatible CAT J460 tooth systems. Cross-referenced to OEM part number 9W8452WTL, its twin-point profile is designed for demanding excavation where strong ground penetration is required.

The twin tiger design uses two pointed working tips to concentrate force into tough material. This profile is particularly suitable for hard ground, compacted soil, rock, aggregate and quarry material, where a standard general-purpose tooth may deliver less effective penetration.

Replacing worn or damaged bucket teeth can help restore digging performance, protect the bucket edge and reduce premature wear on the adapter and locking system. Inspect teeth regularly for excessive wear, cracks, damaged points or movement at the connection; replace the tooth before wear affects the adapter or bucket lip.

Before ordering, confirm that your bucket uses the Caterpillar J460 tooth and adapter system. Check the existing tooth profile, adapter fitment and locking arrangement, and use OEM reference 9W8452WTL as a cross-check. Compatible pins and retainers may be required separately, depending on your bucket setup.
